This section came from The Significato Journal, which was a joint effort between my husband, Peter, and me. The images are too beautiful to abandon, so we've brought them over to my website. Most of the images came from others.

Thy Woods All But Cry With Colour
A wonderful shot vibrant with autumn colors, taken by photo-journalist, Maureen Spagnolo, in Great Falls, Virginia.
Austrian Summer
Once again
Do I behold these steep and lofty cliffs,
That on a wild secluded scene impress
Thoughts of more deep seclusion; and connect
the landscape with the quiet of the sky

(Words of William Wordsworth capture the feeling of this beautiful shot taken by photographer Jean-Pierre Laurent during his vacation in Austria this summer)
"I Want to Go to There"
This is a gorgeous shot of the Maine coast in August, taken by Maureen Spagnolo, a photojournalist living in Washington, DC.
"I want to go to there" is a line spoken by Tina Fey from one of our favorite shows, the NBC comedy, "30 Rock".

"Thou spongy lily-livered pigeon egg!"
Kazuo, having just completed a class on Shakespeare, decides to test an insult on his brother.

(Photograph by Mike Romani. Sibling kingfishers share a branch in Hoshinaike, Obu, Aichi, Japan. Romani said, "These are two of three recently born babies. I spent ten and a half hours here today as it was perhaps the last day for me to photograph the babies here. They'll probably fly off on their own before I'll be able to return next Sunday. However, there will probably be more babies in July and again in the autumn.")
A Love of Old Books & Paintings
Our worldcommunitypress.com website uses this painting as its background. It reflects our love of old books and paintings. It's by the Dutch painter Johannes Jelgerhuis, painted in 1820. The title is "De winkel van boekhandelaar Pieter Meijer Warnars op de Vijgendam te Amsterdam". From Wikipedia Commons.
