Ron and Valerie Taylor are Australian divers and documentary film makers, who met and married in 1963. Their expertise was sought after and used in the filming of Jaws and other films. Over a period of years of returning to the Indonesian island of Banda, Valerie visited a spotted Moray Eel which she named Honey. An affectionate and loving relationship developed between them, and is shown here in this brief film. We've seen countless examples of human beings befriending wild mammals and birds, but warm friendships with sea creatures is more uncommon. This further reveals the deep capacity of living beings that are able to respond to love.
